Senior Policy Advisor
Eric Henson is a San Diego native, born and raised in Southeast San Diego. Eric received his bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies and Planning from the University of California, San Diego, and his master’s degree in City Planning from San Diego State University.
Eric previously served as a Policy Advisor for then San Diego City Councilmember Monica Montgomery Steppe. He also worked as a zoning investigator at the City of San Diego’s Development Services Department. He interned at the San Diego Housing Commission’s Workforce and Economic Planning Department, the City of San Diego’s Human Resources Work Readiness Team, the City of San Diego’s Planning Department and the San Diego Unified Port District’s Development Services Department.
Eric manages the policy areas related to the County of San Diego’s Land Use and Environment Group.
