Julius has lived in South San Diego for almost 9 years but is originally from Florida. He is a Montgomery High School graduate, where he was Salutatorian and received the Quest Bridge National College Match Scholarship to Brown University.

Julius was also a student in the non-profit organization First Gen Scholars and has done significant work in and out of high school with the organization to expand their summer program and clubs to schools in the Sweetwater Union High School District. As a rising senior, he is double majoring in Urban Studies and Economics and has a strong interest in urban planning and city politics.

He hopes to eventually work in San Diego local politics and is passionate about using his knowledge and lived experiences to advocate for disadvantaged communities of San Diego County.
