Director of Community Engagement
Max Ellorin is an immigrant from the Philippines. Max received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a master’s degree in Public Administration from San Diego State University. He served as the Deputy Chief of Staff for then San Diego City Councilmember Monica Montgomery Steppe and advised her on matters related to the City of San Diego’s budget, economic development and infrastructure. He also interned for then California Assemblymember Shirley Weber.
Through AmeriCorps, Max worked for two community-based organizations. He served as an at-risk youth mentor for the Tariq Khamisa Foundation and as an IT specialist at Just in Time for Foster Youth. He also served as a community organizer for Mid-City CAN where he ran the campaign that advocated for no-cost student transit passes.
Max manages constituent services in the areas of Spring Valley, Clairemont, Clairemont Mesa, Old Town, Paradise Hills, Linda Vista, and portions of Grantville.
