Molly Broderick was born in Galway, Ireland and raised in Massachusetts. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate from Cornell University and holds a law degree from Harvard Law School.

After law school, Molly joined the Massachusetts Law Reform Institute and Greater Boston Legal Services as a housing attorney and policy analyst, working in a movement lawyering model to prevent displacement in partnership with statewide community organizing groups. She moved to San Diego in 2025.

Molly manages the policy areas related to Health and Human Services Agency.
