Maura Moed is a Texas native with a wide range of experience in the word of broadcast journalism. Maura received her bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from Mississippi Valley State University.

Maura was previously a news reporter with Mississippi Public Broadcasting. She also worked as a morning show host for a local network in Jackson, Mississippi called “Metro Morning Live,” as well as a Multimedia Journalist for Jackson State University and NPR. Maura is a small business owner and works to share information that empowers small businesses to grow and thrive in San Diego. Maura is dedicated to serving and educating the community through impactful writing and providing a reliable source of information and support for the community.
